Hi,
Would it be possible to get a python2.5 or 2.6 version of the latest release? I have the latest version of Ubuntu Linux and for some reason python2.4 isn't picking up the pygame class So, for now, I am using the release that was compiled for python2.5.
Thanks

SoundRTS can work with Python 2.4 and the latest version of Ubuntu.

Precision: SoundRTS can work with Python 2.4 and the latest STABLE release of Ubuntu (8.10, aka Intrepid Ibex).

I have upgraded to the beta of 9.04 which will be officially released at the end of the month. It is the version that is causing the trouble with pygame. I filed a bug, so hopefully they will fix it. For now though, pygame only shows up in 2.5 and 2.6.

OK, thank you!

I got a response about my bug. They don't want to maintain pygame for all three versions. The bug status was set to "won't fix".

OK, the 1.0 beta 10 p (available at http://jlpo.free.fr/soundrts/py25) is compatible with the 1.0. I will provide 2.5 files with the next version, if it is incompatible.

Note: the 1.1 branch uses Python 2.5 and pygame 1.8.1.
